Spaces between

A large scale site specific window installation at the Golden Thread Gallery.

The windows were illuminated using natural light, allowing a gentle ebb and flow depending on the weather outside, having an instant connection to the outside world. The passing clouds softening the shadows being cast by handmade plants placed between two screens.

These plants have been made to mimic the natural habitat, as well as plants that are in bloom in this area and at this time.

The plants have all been carefully handmade from recycled wire, paper, small pieces of cotton wool, clay and cardboard.
